Maibaumfest

On the 1st of May, the Biergarten transforms into a small Bavarian village. Amidst colourful ribbons, ice-cold beer in hand and music filling the air, we celebrate the Maibaum — the festival that marks the return of spring and brings communities together around the decorated maypole.

Maibaumfest

In Bavaria, the Maibaum is a deeply rooted tradition, celebrated with pride in every village as a symbol of local identity, togetherness and the start of a new season. It represents community, heritage and a collective ritual that marks the return to life outdoors.

Inspired by this Bavarian tradition — one that lies at the very heart of our Biergarten — we have created our own interpretation: a celebration of good company, sharing and the start of the season in an authentic and relaxed setting.

On the 1st of May, the Biergarten Market transforms into a small village, with different experiences spread throughout the space: classic Bavarian and Austrian snacks, traditional pastries from our bakery, Gelato Mio artisan ice creams and exclusive products from the V-Life Shop. You can choose your own ribbons and flowers to decorate the Maibaum and leave your wish for the new season.

At the bar, German beer is served ice-cold. For those looking for something different, the Maibowle — the traditional May cocktail made with white wine and fresh aromatic herbs — is the drink of the season.

From 3pm, the stage comes alive with a live band. There is also a dedicated children's area, with an inflatable and traditional games, so the whole family can celebrate together.
